There are many people who have done great things and become famous because of it. There are also many who have quietly done great things but have received no fame for their efforts. It is these people, from the Chippewa Valley, that this book recognizes.
Jane Glenz taught Social Studies in Shawano, Wisconsin for many years. Once retired, she turned her attention to her hobby- researching and writing about the history of the Chippewa Valley, especially her hometown of Eau Claire.
