This is a piece of hand cut honeycomb from hives in Southern Minnesota. The honeycomb is taken out of the hives, cut into pieces, packaged, and frozen. That way the honeycomb stays super fresh, just like the bees made it.
The main nectar source in this area is sweet clover and basswood/linden. There is a natural variance in the thickness of the comb. This is a natural product created by the bees so net weight can very between 5-7 oz.
